That's literally the dumbest video i've ever seen to advertise a sport. All I saw were dudes who suffered potential life threatening injuries left and right. I'm all for entertainment, but damn near every hit had a dude going in for a high knee that would make Sagat from Street Fighter blush.

It's pretty big in Australia. I prefer Rugby Union though, Super Rugby Grand Final is tomorrow.

This.

Us older folks remember before the NFL, NBA and college anything, there was only stuff like this.

Brandon Lafell would completely dominate this sport.

And the "State of Origin" matches are insane.

Im pretty sure I just watched about 25 people get concussions in a 3 minute video. Thats why this sport hasnt taken off yet, because its dangerous as shite

It is a lot of fun. I played on the team in Baton Rouge for about a year before I moved.

It's a lot of running and a hell of a workout. For those in BR, I highly recommend checking out the Baton Rouge Tigers.

Do any of you older fellows remember when ESPN showed Aussie football

Yep....was great back then too. I love that after all the mayhem on the field, a proper gentleman in a snazzy coat steps out to signal the score...

I went to a game in Perth ... It's right up there with LSU football. The game was Perth Eagles versus the Fremantle Dockers. The rivalry was reminded me of a Bama game at Tiger Stadium.

Freo

Stayed in Perth last summer. Love some Aussie rules football.

well yeah they're Australian... an entire continent descended from convicts...

i think it's because of the weird oval field... we don't have stadiums built for it

State of Origin is Rugby League not Aussie Rules.
