0-6 after winning 2 straight. Let's change that this evening.

1-5 (win vs Marlins) after winning the first game of a series.

Get it together guys!

That's the one issue I actually had with Freddie even when he was here. If he sat every game after clinching until Game 1 of the NLDS in 2019, it is highly possible that the Braves would have won the World Series that year too.

This seems like a good time to give Ozzie a day off. I'd give Olson one soon too unless he really starts cooking at the plate.

Flew in for tonight & tomorrow’s game. Hoping they didn’t use up all their firepower last night.

Apple puts out a beautiful broadcast. I’m looking forward to clear views of the mountain air.

I kind of do. I enjoyed watching the Phillies scuffle and Girardi repeatedly frick up the bullpen.

And you also have Melanie Newman doing PBP. The pride of Etowah High School:

True, but they aren't exactly well-constructed either.

Our old friend John Kincade gives his thoughts on who should replace Girardi:

@JohnKincade

Let me say it first. The

@Phillies

are horrible with the fundamentals. They play uninspired. That must change. Hire Ron Washington as manager in 2023.

Unfortunately for Wash, I'm not sure if he's going to get one again. Selfishly, I love that he's on our staff because you can tell the players absolutely love the dude. I think his age might scare teams off of him though.

It is amazing how long we've kept this coaching staff together. Washington and Weiss should have both been managers again by now. I hope Weiss or Eddie Perez is part of a succession plan.

It should be Weiss. But he needs to hurry himself, he's 59 in November.
