There will be plenty of soccer support in Atlanta. Just maybe not Caucasians

then why are there dead spots? However I don't hear too much complaining about the turf that Seattle, Portland play on.

Braves attendance will increase DRASTICALLY when they officially move to Cobb. And also, soccer is huge in the state of Georgia. The majority of public schools carry soccer, and just about every private school has it. This is a great move for the city.

Will see, when the shine wears off..... I have my doubts.

Of course I don't think the attendance is that bad now

DC United tickets are like $25 a pop.
That sounds reasonable to me.

I'd rather chug a bottle of drano than pay more for a soccer game than to see the braves

ATL has the worst fans in sports

Yeah ok

It's funny because you say that but it really is true.. the only truly successful franchise here when it comes to pulling the fans is the Braves. The Falcons fans are super bandwagon and still barely even show up when they're in the playoffs. Do the Hawks even have fans? and the Trashers left because they couldn't fill 1/3 of the stadium

Even the Braves couldn't give tickets away until the last few decades. It really is a horrible sports town.

It can't cost that much to go to a Braves game. Their capacity is 50k+ and they average around 30k. They must be begging people to sit in those other 20k seats.

Fans didn't go because they had shitty owners. They would quickly sell any player that became good.

No they didn't.

The Thrashers averaged around 15,000/game.

Falcons attendance is fine. Attendance numbers are published, show me where it has been noticeably bad in the last 5 years...
