So you feel like Saints fans felt, till about 2006?

Stick with it, you are just emotional about that loss

Well, I grew up in New Orleans so that helps. I've always been a Saints fan. I never became an LSU fan until I went there.

I love the NFL with or without fantasy. I barely even care about CFB. Most games are pretty boring and the level of play is so much lower.

I can watch any random game on a Sunday (assuming the Vikes are not on then) unless it is Colts-Rams. However, I cannot just flip on a college game. They bore me unless it is two really good teams played (and this year, November 5th bored the frick out of me).

I've been going to Saints games since I was a kid. Even though college football is king in Alabama, I haven't really been to many college games, does the Senior Bowl count?

You know, I've always liked the Saints except when they played the Rams. The only period in time that I disliked them was when one Aaron Brooks was grinnin ear to ear. Not only because he beat the Rams seemingly more than vice-versa, but also because of that same grin after throwing interceptions. I can't stand "the grin" from players. Makes it look like they don't care, and they probably don't.

You must be the reason for ESPN showing all of those MAC games during the week.

College football is played more the way football is supposed to be played than the NFL.

Seriously, the NFL has legislated good defense out of their game. You can have a shite defense and win a Super Bowl. The Saints did it two years ago and Green Bay did it last year.

I've never really had a team in the NFL. I liked Atlanta because all of family was from there and they had Deion. I always liked the teams that had my favorite college players. The Chiefs (Derrick Thomas), Dolphins (Marino) , Lions (Sanders)

I have no idea why I like the nfl as much as I do. I absolutely love GT football and get as into it as any NFL game but could honestly care less about every other school. Comparingly, with the NFL I could literally watch any game and be on the edge of my seat.

Nothing says I've become a man quite like fully investing in what 18-22 year old kids do.

I enjoy the variety of offenses in CFB. You see the same shite in every NFL game, and only about 3-4 guys can play QB well enough to actually make it good. It's aesthetically appealing to me to watch an Air raid go against a spread option even when the teams might not be that strong. Watching the NFL is just too homogenous for me.

I consider myself a Saints fan, but the only thing in the NFL that i'll watch without lapses in attention for four quarters is Aaron Rodgers doing work.

The Rams. Started watching football with my dad when I was 10 or so. Saw the Rams playing someone and decided that was my team. I've stuck with them for 32 years, even through a change of cities -- L.A. to St. Louis.

Over 3 decades, I've seen maybe 5 or 6 seasons of good football from this pile of shite franchise. Kurt Warner (along with Faulk) was a savior for a few years and they fricking trade him. The Rams never draft worth a shite. Thought Sam Bradford might trigger something, but his eyes are already glazing over from the realization of just where the frick he landed.

Worst organization in the NFL, bar none. Sell the farm, fold, fall off the face of the earth. Put me out of my misery.

I mostly agree and I've been a Rams fan since 1967.

Oh, for the days of Gabriel, Snow, Deacon Jones and Merlin Olsen.

In high school in the 70s it was Chuck Knox and those years of consistent excellence--of course I'd cry with frustration when we could never get past the Cowboys or Vikings in the NFC Championship but hell, we were a consistent playoff team with a power-running offense and a tough defense.

The 80s were the Dickerson years--not that great but still some good, though inconsistent teams.

Other than the three year aberration from 1999-2001, this team has stunk since 1990. The move to St. Louis didn't bother me--I wondered how I'd feel if they scrapped the Rams' name, the horns and uniforms.

I'm much more a fan of college football and soccer than the NFL, so part of my sentiment is I'm just not interested in the NFL as a whole anymore.

I felt badly not watching the whole game last night, but I'm sick of this crap.

...another long rebuilding job that may or may not be successful.

Our only hope is that Stan is a legit NFL owner, but yeah, I feel like you.

The Rams' organization is making this fan of 45 years just not care anymore.

I've been a Lions fan my whole life. They've never been to a Super Bowl and they haven't won a championship since my Grandfather was 15 years old.

It can always be worse.

I grew up watching the Lions since the mid 60,s. Some really bad teams have flowed out of Detroit. Thank God for Barry Sanders. At least he was fun to watch.

BTW IMO CFB>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>NFL. I would not have said this 30 years ago.

Is that why offensive production is virtually unchanged over the last several years?

I like both NFL and College, although I didn't give 2 shits about last night's SEA/STL matchup...
