Lets talk about what Bo will bring to the table and what decisions will shape the 40 man for 2013. Anyone think we see Jonathan Singleton win the 1b job?

I think Singleton will be a late call-up next year and '14 will be his rookie year.

I didn't watch but maybe 3-4 innings after the all-star break.

Of the late call-ups, can anyone tell me who has a chance of making the squad next year?

I saw Padares struggle.

Dominguez looked like he started to hit the ball decently.

The pitching seemed to improve.

Has this hat been debunked as the new ones yet?

not debunked yet. still totally bunk at this point.

I think Dominguez still has a good shot of winning 3b simply because who else will play there? unless they trade lowery in the offseason I think the middle infield is set.

I think you will see lunhow sign a couple of lower level free agents to plug intot he OF and either 1b or 3b.

I think maxwell ends up starting at one spot in the OF. Too many questions marks still and no readily apparent guys who will jump up next year. I think Springer and Singelton are both still 2014 guys with possible late season call ups. Folty is probably 2014 at best. Cosart has a chance mid season next year I believe. I think it will be another 100 loss season. HOpefully with three straight #1 picks/drafts the back half of this decade will be promising.

No...something IS bunk and then you debunk it.

I really don't think that's the exact hat for next year's squad. They make about a million and a half versions of those hats at any Lid's in Houston.

It's still too early to call, but at this point, this is what we know:

Bud, Harrell and Lyles will still be in the Rotation. I hope Weiland is able to come back from his injury, and we really shouldn't have too terrible of a rotation.

Wilton Lopez and Wesley Wright are the only ones who are safe for now in this bullpen.

Castro, Altuve and Lowrie will be in the starting lineup on opening day (barring any injury), but the corner spots are up for grabs. If Wallace can't get the 1B job this year, then it's probably never going to happen. Lowrie will 99% likely be dealt to a contender.

The outfield is a complete guessing game. Maxwell and Martinez are the only ones who are safe for now. Everyone else is potential trade bait or cutting block material

Springer, Singleton and Cosart are all 2014 guys with the lone possible exception of Cosart in the case of injury to our rotation. Also, it may not be impossible for Brady Rodgers to reach the show at some point. He was a 2nd rounder in this past June's draft, but finished the remainder of the season in High A ball...which is a pretty lofty jump.
