I like how he justified Hawaii by referencing them beating Washington. They squeaked it out at home against a Tyrone Willingham led team. Enough said on that.

I don't think Richt wanted to further embarrass them. We had 8 sacks, forced 6 turnovers and knocked Brennan out of the game. It was one of the biggest mismatches I've ever seen in a big bowl game.

you're underrating the hell out of 2004 Utah

1. they beat 3, BCS teams that year
2. they had the #1 overall draft pick playing QB
3. they made a BCS bowl via auto bid b/c they were ranked top 4
