Well if you beleive this you think he deserves a raise and should be named executive of the year correct?

I'm saying the popularity of the sport is making the owners money, not the most hated man in NFL history.

I don't think anyone is arguing that.
I have no idea if he does or if it is blind luck. But I do know that for whatever reason the NFL has exploded since he has been in charge and made exponentially more money than any other commissioner. If I am an owner Im not firing him

Until his ineffectiveness (perceived or actual) affects the bottom line, I don't think he's going anywhere.
In honesty, his ineffictiveness increases the bottom line. For example, no man that hates Goodell is going to stop watching the NFL for it. However, the NFL is dominating the headlines in times when it otherwise wouldnt strictly because of Goodell. It is interesting really

I'll admit I'm being nitpicky here, but he took over in 2006. The growth rate had skyrocketed before that, and while still growing, the growth rate has slowed down since he took over:

Same chart, different source:

Revenues appear to be steady before and after(at least up to 2012):

That's not true. My viewership has decreased my a significant amount. I rarely watch SNF. I never watch MNF. I only occasionally watch TNF (saints exception for all)

I hardly watch the draft, I don't watch the combine, I don't listen to NFL radio, I don't watch ESPN or NFL Network (saints game exception again). I actively avoid NFL sponsors and have even ditched products for being NFL local or national sponsors. I don't buy NFL licensed products (I got madden 15 and 16 for free)

So not everyone watches no matter what. The only thing they get me for is $250 and one Sunday. I used to consume NFL 365 24/7

That's not nit picky, it's true. Early 2000s the NFL just got fricking awesome. Goodall hasn't crashed the train. Doesn't make him anything other than a guy who hasn't crashed a train.'maybe he's great, maybe he's not.

All I know is I hope he fricking dies

I still think the NFL in terms of popularity saw its biggest rise around 2006 or 2007, but had nothing to do with Goodell. It was Fantasy football hitting the main stream

Same here.

Fantasy football and gambling is saving the NFL

I dont beleive you at all. You follow the NFL so much that you are the first to post anytime Goodell speaks

I watch more than ever. During the first 5 or 6 weeks, I'll watch 10 or 11 games a week. And it goes beyond FF for me.
Yea, I always talk on here about fake outrage, but i'm pretty hypocritical with my disdain for Goodell. It's an all time high now, but I'm also watching and partaking in all things NFL more than ever now as well.

Seriously, My friends are shocked how little I'm in the know. I used to be in the highest 1% of NFL junkies. My only interest in anything off field is whether or not it rids me of goodell.

They have me for $250, 6 hours on one day a week and pretty much nothing else. That's a lot, but that's an enormous decrease
