Are the Toronto Raptors a threat to Cleveland in the East?

VERY quietly, Toronto has won 10 games in a row, and sits only 2 games back of Cleveland. This is with DeMarre Carroll missing half of the season (supposed to be back soon after the ASB). Their 96.5 ppg allowed is good for 4th in the Association.

Have they emerged as a true challenger to Cleveland? Or will Cleveland waltz into the Finals?

Of course they're a threat. They won't be favorites to beat them but they are plenty capable.

Lol no one in the East is touching Cleveland.

Regular season blah blah blah.

Not falling into believing that again.

If Cleveland remains healthy, no team in the East will knock them off in the Playoffs.

If they can get Carrol back and he plays at the level he was playing last year, I think they can Cleveland a battle

This is a big if.

DeMarre Carroll has had a lot of problems with the lower-half of his body this season. He played through a heel injury, was shut down for nearly a month with a knee injury, came back for a few games, and subsequently had arthroscopic knee surgery. There isn't much of a timetable for his return, though it isn't season-ending.

Yea Carroll is key, he would need to attempt to keep LBJ in check

I think they could threaten the Cavs in a series with a chance at an upset. People underrate Lowry. They gave a solid bench. Valunciunasfirves mozgov to play extensive minutes. If they can add a few pieces at the deadline it could be interesting. Need to upgrade the 4

It is easy to forget how deep they are. Even though they miss Carroll, the additions of Biyombo and Cory Joseph have really helped their depth and defense.
