Anyone remember Barret Robbins ? He's at it again

former raiders center punches woman and daughter repeatedly
This is the cat who went awol the day of the 2003 super bowl which he was scheduled to be the starting center in. He had a history of mental problems and is somehow not institutionalized.
Just randomly starts punching a woman and her daughter at a hotel.
Guy is 42 and looks 65.

Watched a really interesting interview with Tim Brown about what happened with Robbins and that Super Bowl. Brown is one of the few Raiders that doesn't blame or atleast understands what happened with Robbins.

He went off his meds. He's severely mentally troubled. Couple that with steroids and possible concussion syndrome...timebomb.

According to Brown and few other Raider players, when Bill Callahan decided to change the game plan at the last minute (two days before the Super Bowl) Robbins couldn't handle the pressure.
The night Robbins disappeared he went to dinner with his wife and two children, dropped them off at their hotel and went to the team hotel. Robbins made the 11 o'clock team bed check. A few hours later he left the hotel and went to Tijuana.
After they found him the following day, his wife asked him, 'today is Sunday, do you know where you should be?' He apologized for missing Church.

It's amazing that someone like this is allowed to roam the streets instead of being institutionalized. This countries mental health services are a joke.

I thought he died around ten years ago from an overdose. Must be working on some sort of plan towards that now.
