Let's say the draft was in NOLA, would you attend?

Let's say the tickets are $50

I would pay a td posters entry to hold up a fire goodell sign but no way the NFL lets that in

I can't understand how people actually watch a draft

Its not live sports

It's highlights

I'm interested in who picks who (first round only)

But why actually watch it, I know I'm in the vast minority

That shite gets huge ratings

TBH I miss it being in New York every year. Something about the Jets fans booing every pick and chanting "J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!" was oddly amusing

If my team was in the top 5-10 I'd probably go. Hell if it was a late 20's pick you could drink at a nearby bar then go when your team is a few picks away

Chicago looked a good spot for it but to me i always associate the draft with NYC.

No. Sitting around just listening to names being called doesn't sound like fun. Might as well spend my night at a Bingo hall. At least there I'd have a shot at winning something.

at first i was gonna say "no, not just no but HELL no", then i realized the draft can be pretty interesting live, between gambling on it, seeing unexpected trades, your team picking, players you like and players you hate...

but i'd have to have a smart phone reading real-time analysis

I would go if they moved the 1st round back to Saturday noontime like they had it in the glory days. I'll probably forget it's on tonight.

I happened to be in New York the same time as an NBA draft one year. The time between picks was painfully long. Only made it to the 19th pick before we left.

My corporate housing is a half mile away.

I'll check out the draft experience this afternoon. Probably go tonight as well.

It's free and should be a hilarious party. I don't give a flying frick about the picks though

I'm going, not because I enjoy the draft itself. I do love drinking beer and talking football. Kinda like my own spring practice for the football season.
