They had a press conference today. Wild vs. Blackhawks at TCF Stadium. Minnesota is one of the great hockey places in the US. Should be awesome.

I debated it, but decided to go travel to watch the Hawks in Chicago this year. I would probably go if it was it was against the B's at Fenway or Detroit at the Big House. But as it is I'd rather go to Chicago, I have a place to stay and there will be more to do. It'll be a good game at Minny though

The Wild have a huge Finnish following because of Mikko Koivu, Mikael Granlund, and tGOAT Antti Laaksonen.

Nice, I'm a huge Russian hockey fan. Varlamov and Zadorov.

Datsyuk will be there too. But good luck to your Avs. Patrick Roy is a GOAT.

Thanks man!
That would be amazing if Roy, Sakic and Forsberg all played.

Yes, Denis Guryanov. He has the potential to be something special. Big kid with a hard shot who has the typical Russian hands. He mostly played in the MHL last season (Russian junior league), but did get a taste of KHL (top league) action. He's still under contract in Russia for 2 more years, so he'll be 20 when he comes to North America.

The cheapest seats are $109.00 in a 50,000 seat stadium. for a game that is just a regular season game.

Watch it on tv. Plus it could be -8 with a wind chill of -20 that time of the year. It is very difficult to dress for that type of cold for a 2.5 hour game.

great stuff. sounds like he'll be a Val Nichushkin(sp?) type player but way more developed when he gets here. I'm going to try and catch some of the junior friendlies coming up

I'll be at Sally's or Stub & Herb's doing as many shots as needed to not feel a thing before this one.

It's above freezing in Seattle in February, but it isn't a requirement anyways, they had one of these in LA a couple years ago
