Still blame dusty baker much much more (and to an extent alou's hissy fit).
Simple solution, go talk to prior...or even better, when you're winning game 2 like 9-0 in the 5th, you can probably give prior a little bit of a breather.

It's on Gonzalez. Easy play booted and the rest was history. Alou making that catch was a non-routine play. Gonzalez's error was on a routine play.

I agree with all of that, but when i'm playing "what if" i always wonder if prior hadn't thrown 112 pitches in a blow out in game 2 and what if dusty had simply gone otu there after alou's fit and said "tell me about the hottest woman you fricked at southern cal."
Likley alex still boots a tailor made double play, but i'd rather direct my hate towards dusty baker.

I tell this story a lot, but I remember the Saturday night after game 4, my dad breaking down in tears because he believed we would be win the series.
We pulled into Sonic on Perkins Rd and as listening to the series, he said, "we need to win Game 5 so that we can have Prior and Wood Games 1 and 2 in the series."

I don't remember much fo that series, mainly becuase the mind is a wonderful thing and lets you block out bad memories, but i'm sure i too got a little big for my britches.
