Extend your leg out as straight as you can, even though Antonio's leg was never strait,
It was extended as straight as he could while jumping.

Pretty easy huh. It's your hip. It allows you to move your leg in a broad range of motion.
Do a hurdle at full sprint and try it. See what happens.

LIke i said before, i guarantee you had that been his kid, or just about any kid, assuming he's not a piece of shite, he would not have stuck his cleats into the kids face. He would have did whatever he needed to do to not kick the kid in the face.
Well that settles it.
Looks like I don't have to admit to being an idiot at least.

I think some of you underestimate how fast we can make decisions and act upon them.
My neighbor recently had a birthday party for their kid and had a big water slide in the yard. I'm going down it and right when i get to the bottom, one of the little kids jumps into the pool without looking. My feet were aimed right at him and had less than a second, ON A WATERSLIDE, to not kick him. I did not kick him, but i did take him out, but i was able to try my best to lessen the blow, which was inevitable, onto the kid, and the kid didnt' even cry or anythign, despite every parent there immediately running up expecting the kid to be dead.
I avoided kicking him b/c i have control over where i put my feet, even on a waterslide, and did my best to turn my body and was able to push him with one hand before my body completely took him out.
I don't have the athletic ability that Antonio has, but i have no doubt in my mind he could have avoided kicking him in the face, if he wanted to.

I think you don't know how the body works or know what "easily" means.

It isn't easy. I know that. And i don't expect him to not do what he did. All i'm saying, is if he was motivated to not kick the guy in the face, like if it was a kid there, he could have avoided it.

He could have easily led his foot to the side of the punter, not kicking him.

WHatever. It's no point arguing with some of you. You pick and choose what you feel like reading and make your assumptions on that.
How often does a basketball player jump up and notice someone on the ground on their way down and avoid stepping on them? DO they look graceful avoiding the guy, no, but they don't step on them, they just try to fall in some sort of control.
How often do basketball players jump and have a guy taking a charge in front of them, the kind of charge where they are taking it where you would land on them on the way down? How is it they are able to turn their bodies in the air so they don't land squarely on top of the guy, when they want to?
These are world class athletes, they are capable of doing remarkable things in the air, when they want to.
