Jahlil Okafor was involved in a fight in Boston last week and then last night he was stopped after going 108 MPH on the Ben Franklin Bridge

quote:

Four sources independently confirmed to The Inquirer the 76ers center was pulled over on the Ben Franklin Bridge around three weeks ago for 108 miles per hour. Anything over 40 m.p.h. is considered reckless driving.

This news come days after it was revealed that Okafor had been involved with two altercations while leaving nightclubs.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pounder had a gun pointed at his head on Oct. 4 near Second and Walnut Street in Philadelphia. Then there was Thursday's early morning fight outside of Storyville Nightclub in south Boston hours after Wednesday night’s loss to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

To Okafors defense, he has no one to guide him through NBA life.

People laugh at Minnesota for trading for KG and keeping him on the payroll at 40. Young teams need a veteran presence.

You can get another couple good tanking years if your "star" player is incarcerated.

it's a market inefficiency
while everyone else is stashing overseas, hinkie will stash in the pen
the man is a visionary

That's part of the problem. They're building a culture where losing is accepted and not everyone responds well to that, especially ultra talented youngsters who have always won.
