Another Baylor Sexual Assault Accusation from OTL

My first thought is "Why didn't you go to the police?" Sounds like the victim was confused and thought the Title 9 office would act in place of the police and help establish a no-contact order against him because he was kind of harassing her.
But this happened back in September. He wasn't suspended from last season's games because of the accusation or the violation of the no-contact order, which isn't a surprise because of course, Art Briles. The worst part, he would have been a starter this coming season had it not been for his stalking arrest. SMH, Baylor.

Considering the political climate we now live in, the death penalty might not be too far off for Baylor

It's definitely needed for that school

Death Penalty
If Baylor doesn't release the Pepper Hamilton report in writing, Big 12 might boot them out.

They aren't going to have a choice. Looks like it will be required.
District Attorney asks for Pepper Hamilton Report

I think even if they give it to the DA it doesn't have to be released to the public.
The whole thing is a shite show.

How does this McCraw chick STILL have a job at the Baylor Title IX office?
quote:
The only communication the woman had with Baylor after the hearing came in a Nov. 12 email from Baylor Chief Judicial Officer Bethany McCraw, the woman told Outside the Lines. The email, reviewed by Outside the Lines, stated the woman needed to start taking a certain exit from a science building to avoid coming in contact with Hammad. It also stated that if the woman needed to access any building on campus where she did not have a scheduled class, or outside of her scheduled class time, that she must email McCraw at least 24 hours ahead of time to get her approval.
"I never got a result from the trial, and now I'm being told how to exit the building as if I'm the one who's being charged?" she said. "I felt like I was being punished and treated like a criminal."
She reached out to Title IX Coordinator Patty Crawford, who was out of the office that day, "and then I emailed every single person who works for Ken Starr listed on his website, and I told them I was disgusted with Baylor." She said no one responded to the email.
She said she called the Title IX office a few days later and complained about the email from McCraw to the person who answered the phone -- whose name she did not recall -- and also asked about the trial. She said she was told, "We can't disclose what happened at the trial to you."

I think we will see how hard NCAA will pursue Baylor with how they respond to the letter UNC gave them that basically said frick off.

It is impossible to believe that the Baylor assistants didn't know about this guy's infractions. They all must be fired.

It sure seems like the good people at Baylor are intent on trying to give the Big 12 iron clad political cover to boot the Bears so they can replace them w/Houston.

I'm beyond disgusted with what has happened there. People who should have known seemingly turned a blind eye.
This is well beyond athletics and that institution hides behind the Private label only to attempt to reach new heights.
Too bad they trample on the very people they are tasked to better.
Sad that they are Texans.

Nah, we took the solemn vow to disown them.
From now on, they are no longer Texans.
