Covenant Christian's #5 arm pitched last night too. Low velo but very efficient Lefty. If the wind was blowing in, then great call. He pitches a lot of Fly Ball Outs

Cupit goes 2 innings and every kid on the team gets to play tonight as WM beats Ouachita 14-1 in 4.5 innings. Ouachita is not good. So bad beating them likely hurts WM’s power rating.

They’re 4-15 with 2 of their wins against 3A Caldwell and the other 2 against 3-15 Franklin Parish. They had 1 hit tonight, which was off the wall for a single because the kid thought it was an out. They’re 39/41 in D1 Non Select. They’re pretty bad.

Game 2 against Ouachita saw Garrett Frye, Gage Carr, and Peyton Starr combine for a no hitter. WM wins 12-0.

It was 33. We just stopped GameChanger at 29 lol

The other day against West Jeff they only recorded one out the entire game… we just agreed to stop every inning after 9 batters lol. I had never seen that before in high school ball

What is WMs record so far this season? I have been really busy to keep up.

20-6 I believe. Started off 0-3 at Catholic. Then dropped back to back games to OCS and Parkview Baptist after leading the entire game. Then one to Neville on a Monday night at ULM. It's hard to get a gauge on how the playoffs will look when one team is starting a middle relief guy as well as throwing 5 guys in a Tuesday game or the 5th game of the week while the other team is throwing their ace. When it comes to the playoffs, you're not going to see those matchups. It'll be at worst the #3 starter and usually Ace vs Ace.

partially through district play and things are rounding out and oh look at the teams at the top of. the usual suspects. other than Natchitoches Central we have WM Barbe and Sam Houston. Sulphur fell A little but they had a ton of seniors last year.

I don’t believe they’re the #1 team in D1 NS. They scheduled good B-C teams with great records. When they’ve played good 5A teams they’ve lost for the most part. They’ll get the easiest path now with their seeding giving them home games throughout. So they might make a bit of a run, but I’d be shocked to see them in Sulphur.

Benton at WM. WM opens with a single from Shivers and a BOMB from Hawsey. Benton gets a run in the 4th with a walk, stolen base, line out to second throws back to second and Blue says everyone’s safe, HBP, walk. 2-1 WM after 4 while WM has a no hitter going.

WM beats Benton 5-2. That’ll be a 40+ power point win. Will go a long way with WM being home throughout the playoffs. Benton’s SS made play after play. Kid was a Hoover all night.
