Barring an injury to Bosh, Wade, or James then the Heat are favorites by a mile. That small ball lineup they discovered last year in the playoffs with Lebron at the 4 is going to destroy everyone. It's the way every team wants to play but no one can bc there's only one Lebron

Dear GOD please not the Heat, but yeah they are def the team to beat. At this point I might root for the Heat over the Lakers, the Lakers are back in the hate box because other teams gave them players for jack shite, and it screwed my Rockets.

What team does Lebron play for?

The "he isn't getting any younger" argument for Dwight Howard? Seriously?
In relation to his defensive efficiency, and ability to clean up all the mistakes that an older, slower team is going to make defensively? Absolutely. It's not a criticism of his age, so much as the cap for additional growth as a defender. Asking Superman to be Superman+ is expecting too much.
He's still going to be a favorite for DPOTY-- but he's not going to get significantly better, which he would have to do to improve the Lakers' defense in a decent sized manner.
They aren't slotting him in for some kind of slouch, either-- Bynum was excellent in the post, posting numbers that were in the neighborhood of a Howard season, if not quite equal (100 points per 100 possessions for Bynum, whereas Howard has a career mark of 98)
Where Howard will improve the Lakers a ton is on the defensive boards and with some help D situations where Bynum had problems with rotation due to degraded mobility and lateral movement.
Unfortunately, Kobe and Nash are not going to improve either. If they have any health issues with Gasol or Metta, they're going to rely on Antawn Jamison for too many minutes at the 4.

Mike Brown still coach the Lakers? If so they sure as hell won't win the west.
