Brees has never been close to Brady

He isn’t even on Manning’s tier

Brees was a better pure passer than Brady in their prime. Brees was what 5 inches shorter, never had this offensive talent, hardly ever had a defense, never had a committed running game, and had to deal with Sean Payton cuteness.

People have a short memory about Brees, probably why he never won an MVP

I’d imagine Brees would have rings plural if he played in New England.

Brady is absolutely on another level than Brees. I won't argue to say Peyton is better than Brady, but let's not act like they aren't at least on the same level.

Brady is the combination of a great qb combined with an ungodly amount of luck throughout his entire career.

Ummmmm, you might want to look at their playoff records before you make such a bold statement.

I like Peyton and always rooted for him, being a hometown guy, but he's not near the same level as Brady.

Most football fans are so painfully stupid.

You mean there is a difference between 14-13 and 2 SB, versus 34-11 and 7 SB?

Brees with Belickick and that front office that could build a defense and coach? Brees would have dominated. The Saints front office was a joke for like 10 years. Saints were paying out $40 million a year in dead cap with 4 draft picks while NE had like 10-12 picks.

How many 5000 yard seasons did
Brees have and how many pro bowl WR's caught those passes?

And when you say "yeah the Saints threw the ball more" lets compare completion percentage and then compare defenses.

Brees carried bad teams, Brady wasn't even the reason for NE's first 3 super bowls and how many times in the last 5 years were there talks about Brady's dump offs?

Both in their prime, Brees whooped Brady 38-17

No franchise in the history of the NFL has more than 6 Super Bowl trophies. Tom Brady has 7. Best NFL player ever.

I thought Brees was better then Brady too in the early 2010s but as Brees’s arm has begun failing him Brady just keeps getting stronger and winning more and more. He has 2 Super Bowls since his 40th birthday! Amazing.

Brady is on a level with Babe Ruth and Michael Jordan. Brees is a 1st ballot hall of famer.
