So a few months ago, I just assumed Mazara would be handed the AL ROTY award with maybe some competition from Fulmer out of Detroit

Now that Texas is out of reach for Houston I haven't really been paying much attention to yalls box scores. I saw a thread on Reddit about who is gonna win rookie of the year and feel like NOBODY had Mazara listed in their top 5...? What happened? I knew he wasn't going to sustain his early start but every time I've watched him he's looked legit. Did he have a rough patch or something?

He has a glaring weakness against left handed hitters. He isn't even playing against them anymore.

ETA: I know he had a long like 0-30 something, but apart from that he hasn't been terrible. He's been hitting, just not a lot of extra base hits.

Odor's aggressiveness killed us there. Could have been first and third one out. Down by 1, you can't try to take that extra base.

Yup, I like his aggressiveness, but it definitely sometimes is a bit too audacious.

Looks like Hamels matched Carrasco's last start.

Unreal, I'd say Odor redeemed himself for getting thrown out on his previous at bat
