The guy wants to be in Texas. He wouldn't have signed an extension if he didn't, especially when he signed it before Texas had any kind of lead in the division this season.

If the Rangers hadn't lucked out and won the division last year, he wouldn't have signed. JD talked him into thinking the Rangers are more than a one-and-done team (he's so good a snake oil salesman that he's probably the Antichrist).

Maybe he's finally adjusting. It's a constant battle of pitchers adjusting to hitters, hitters adjusting to pitchers, lather/rinse/repeat.

On another subject, we heard earlier in the week that the White Sox were sellers but Sale wasn't for sale (pardon the pun). Now we've heard about his clubhouse meltdown.
If he becomes available and if the Rangers have to give up only one of Gallo or Profar to get him, do you want him now? But I've heard that the White Sox have serious tension between the players and the front office, making for an uneasy clubhouse atmosphere (the exact opposite of the Rangers), so would he do better with a change of scenery?
