I gave up on the season after last night's loss. We need to be 100% sellers.
My worst nightmare is us being a couple games back of the wild card come mid July and Daniels deciding to not sell and try to win with this team, then fading in August/September and not coming close. Kind of like the 2006/2008/2009 seasons. And then not getting anything in return for the likes of Darvish in the offseason and being even worse off for 2018.

I felt that way earlier this year, but I'm cautiously optimistic. I think last night they said no team in the AL is further than 5 games out of the wild card or something like that? I may have made that up. Hopefully Hamels can come back 100% and we can make up some ground. Also curious about Scheppers (if he can stay healthy) and Diekman (if he can get healthy). Need some stability in the bullpen.

Since there was no thread last night I just want to take this time to bitch about another blown game by the bullpen. F'n mother frickers. Damn.
Now on to tonight. Looking good so far!
I think when healthy this team can still compete...if the bullpen can somehow get fixed. Big if though.
