Happy Monday Tiger fans. As an LSU fan, I almost feel weird pulling for Bama tonight, but hear me out first. With UGA on the rise, I think it’s important that Kirby and UGA continue to be a coach/program that just can’t get it done. I think at some point, (let’s assume money/NIL being the same), there’s a possibility kids will start taking that into consideration. Alabama is Alabama. Everyone know who they are, and what they are capable of. I think UGA winning will ultimately hurt us more than Alabama winning. Anyone else share this view?

I am pulling for Bama...would rather them add another title than to have UGA win one

Exactly. I don’t think we are in the minority. I agree, bama adding another vs UGA winning one is better for us.

Wrong. 2 SEC teams at the moment can say they have won a Natty recently. You want Georgia to be able to say the same? Nope

I do not even care, really, not one bit what UGA says or can claim. Just like I give zero craps about Bama.

I look at things a little different. If GA wins maybe they can slow down or take over this bama dynasty in a sense. I'd rather the SEC Power be in the East than the West if it's not us.

Whichever outcome would contribute to Saban retiring sooner.

A lot of you aren't thinking big picture. Alabama is Alabama. That's not changing. Georgia is on the cusp of being able to enhance an already strong recruiting pitch, if they win tonight. I wish both teams could lose, but UGA winning will push UGA further ahead of LSU. What actually changes if Saban wins another? He is already the GOAT.

I’m thinking you don’t realize winning a NC doesn’t suddenly mean recruits swarm to that school in hordes. And even so, kids are leaving Louisiana to go to Alabama, not Georgia. Why wouldn’t you want Alabama to look human for a change and lose a national title?

none of it hurts us. LSU is sitting in a hotbed of college football recruits. Even idiots Miles and O landed elite recruiting classes, all in the midst of Alabama's dominant Saban run. Do we lose a few players that we want to Bama or UGA? Sure, but we get a lot of great ones too. And not every top recruit pans out, so it's a bit of a crapshoot. I'd focus more on developing the guys we bring in, and putting them in the right scheme.

We'll be just fine.

I’m not “rooting” for the gumps. I hate those sons of bitches.

But the OP makes sense. I want to see the attitude toward Georgia be from the national media and the CFB world: “Damn, Kirby Smart is a choker! Georgia had the better team and folded twice against Alabama!”

Face it, by now, six or seven NC’s for that little prick and the fricking gumps, what difference does it make?

blah blah, recruiting, blah, did Clemson become a power house after they beat Bama in a Natty?

LSU isn't scared of UGA or Bama in the next 3 years, no matter what. LSU fans never pull for Bama. Don't overthink it.

Saban will coach at least another 10 years. He'll only stop when his health requires it.

Lol. You dont think winning a Natty will help UGA even more? Thats like saying kids dont go to Alabama to win Nattys. LSU sends nearly just as many players to the league as Alabama. Why do in state kids continue to go to Bama? You are basically guaranteed to win a Nation Championship.
