Donaldson and Harper, easily for both.

Not that I think he necessarily deserves it over the other 2, but Votto's play puts him in the discussion, IMO.

All the best NL hitters are on garbage teams

How in the world is Harper putting up those slugging numbers with only 79 RBI 4 days into September. Even if he goes off this month, he'll barely reach 100. Dudes were doing that in the terrible offense 80s hitting .250. Does anybody else for the Nats actually get on base?

Span hasn't been healthy (61 GP)
Desmond has a .286 OBP

Jason werth hasn't been healthy (63 GP) .297 OBP

Harper's OBP is about 470 right now. Just ridiculous.

Rizzo is elite. McCutchen is still a stud. Goldy and Harper's teams are not awful.

These are some 1967ish numbers.

Yea it is pretty bad for Harper, could you imagine a healthy Span and Rendon at the top of the order.... Harper would have 110 RBI

He also walks 20% of his plate appearances, which is great for providing value, but not so great for RBIs.
