Not that I think he necessarily deserves it over the other 2, but Votto's play puts him in the discussion, IMO.

How in the world is Harper putting up those slugging numbers with only 79 RBI 4 days into September. Even if he goes off this month, he'll barely reach 100. Dudes were doing that in the terrible offense 80s hitting .250. Does anybody else for the Nats actually get on base?

Span hasn't been healthy (61 GP)
Desmond has a .286 OBP
Espinosa has a .318 OBP
Rendon hasn't been healthy (53 GP)
Taylor has a .286 OBP
Tyler Moore has a .250 OBP
Jason werth hasn't been healthy (63 GP) .297 OBP

Rizzo is elite. McCutchen is still a stud. Goldy and Harper's teams are not awful.

Yea it is pretty bad for Harper, could you imagine a healthy Span and Rendon at the top of the order.... Harper would have 110 RBI

He also walks 20% of his plate appearances, which is great for providing value, but not so great for RBIs.
