Advice on starting a golf league? Sample Rules?

When I lived in BR a few years back I participated in the BREC Golf League. It was 2 man teams and we played round robin against a different team each week.
I'm looking to start something like that here in Natchitoches. Anybody on here ever ran or participated in something like this?
I'm looking for any suggestions or sample rules and formats I can use to get this off the ground.

I help run a league in Thibodaux. We just signed up with a company called Golf Genius. It's a web and app based service that can handle any kind of format you can think of. They maintain our player roster, event registration, a message board, and we have live, realtime scoring through the app. It also links to handicap services. That's where I would start.
