It's like they can't compete at all. What kind of sorry arse team makes it all the way to the finals.

Okay, so you think it’s okay that teams like Acadiana and Carencro, which are public schools, play against teams that can recruit their entire parish?

Acadiana can not pull kids parish wide nor recruit. Students can choose to put their name in a pool to be accepted into an academy that has no guarantee of getting accepted into, students maintain a high gpa, and must provide their own transportation. This is not a tool for recruiting, for any school in Lafayette parish.

For what it’s worth, watched Acadiana play this year and was not impressed compared to what you’d usually expect. They had skill position guys that wouldn’t normally sniff the starting spot (assuming they’re young).

Are you asking me? They are select because they can pull from the entire parish due to the the magnet academies. Southside High is the only one who doesn't offer that in Lafayette Parish.

Just found out Catlick had to forfeit a few titles and runners up because of muh recruiting. Of 8th graders Imagine how big of a loser you have to be to report that.

Also, Acadiana did win two titles before the split. How many did Catholic win before the split?

Zachary dominates 5A and Catholic dominates Zachary.

Neither would have been possible without the split.

Catholic was obviously the better team tonight. They looked great in every aspect.

I don't understand an adult talking shite about a high school game, especially throwing shade at a school that's not a rival or in the same district. Guess that's what happens when you don't win them as often?

This acadiana team had moments throughout the year, but absolutely did not live up to the teams that won it all in the past.

First year Catlick won it, they beat Rummel who was viewed as the best team in the state that year. Had a guy by the name of Kristian Fulton and a salty defense. But the Bears had a baw by the name of Clyde in their backfield

You can’t be this naive.
