He hit his 8th and 9th home runs of the season tonight against Baltimore, the second of which was one of the hardest hit home runs ever (hardest in the Statcast era).

Yankees were down 9-1 in the 6th inning. They came back and won the game 14-11 on a walk-off homer by Matt Holliday. It was a remarkable game.

Judge is ridiculously special. He inside-outed a ball at Fenway the other night and hit it into the bullpen in right-center field. He should have 10 homers already this season, if not for an atrociously bad review that took away an obvious homer to right field at Yankee Stadium.

His swing is effortless. I think he will hit 40 homers this season and be the runaway AL ROY.

Cutting down on his strikeouts this season should really help.

I remember Rey as a below average hitter, Clark. Are you referring to his exit velocity out of the league?

That was the joke. He had 12 career home runs in nine seasons.

Watching Judge and Gallo for the next 10+ years is going to be insane. I hope they both are in the derby this year.

Sano is another under 25 guy with 80 raw power.

I find it so odd that he plays 3B for some reason. I feel like every time they play Texas he makes a horrible error.

It doesn't typically matter because he wrecks us at the plate, but I just feel like he isn't even an average fielder.

How old is the "statcast" era?

I believe it was introduced in every stadium in 2015.

Also, OP's title is a bit misleading. He mentions it was hardest hit HR in the actual post, but the title could be misunderstood.

The hardest hit ball recorded was actually a field out by Avisail Garcia in 2016 that was recorded at 125.2 MPH.

Gallo
Judge
Stanton

Definitely need to get in on the home run derby this year. Selfishly I'd also love to see George Springer take some of his giant donkey hacks in a home run derby setting.
