Trap game. Texas can win this game.

there's no trap here, though. they have kansas the week before and iowa state the week after. it doesnt get any less trappier than that

they might lose the game, but it's not a "trap game"

just can't see a scenario in which Baylor wins out and TCU is put in over Baylor in the CFB Playoff.

then again, I am bias.

they are both going if that happens

im excited now. i didnt believe in the controversy/bs hype surrounding the committee and the playoff decision. 11-1 TCU provides that element.

Neither do I

People on the TCU message board Killer Frogs today were talking about how TCU's playoff chances are dead now that Baylor won today.... and anyone who thought Baylor could jump TCU was labelled as a defeatist troll

I do think the door is open for both teams to get in though, especially if all SEC teams have 2 losses by season's end and Florida State or Oregon manage to drop one. I don't see Ohio State being able to jump either TCU or Baylor

Yea I agree with you. TCU has the stronger schedule but its a marginal difference. Yalls win over Minnesota >>> then our win at Buffalo. But will that Minnesota team win another game this year (OSU, Nebraska, and Wisconsin left on the schedule).

Does playing and beating Minnesota outweigh a head to head result? I just don't see how it could unless Minnesota wins out and somehow wins the Big 10 championship.

Jake Trotter

Gary Patterson, when asked about Baylor having the head-to-head edge: "I know Minnesota is 7-2…”

When both teams win out(and both teams will) they will have beaten the same teams, except TCU will have Minnesota/WVU and Baylor will have TCU/Buffalo

Basically will the committee rather reward 2 decent wins for TCU or 1 really good win for Baylor... I just don't see Minnesota/WVU being big enough wins to cancel out the head to head win Baylor has

Especially when TCU had us down 21 and we scored 24 points in 11 minutes to win.

yeah but they are gonna finish 7-5 so he probably shouldnt be hanging his hat on that.

it's a real shame that TCU got absolutely boned in that baylor game. if k-state beats baylor, then TCU is 100% in. if not, they still have a great chance. gonna be fun.

From the CFP Committee President...

Bill Hancock: "Any time there are co-champions and there is no championship game, the committee will consider them both champions."

Sorry, Baylor.
