A-Rod: Astros deserve whatever comes their way after lack of remorse they’ve shown

Thank you A-Rod, very cool!

Another useless thread.

Well, now that A-Roid has chimed in, I’ve completely changed my mind.

Yet here you are commenting in said useless thread to bump it back to the top

Yup. And he was punished and apologized for what he did.

Astros were punished for what they did and issued apologetic remarks

Insincere apologies after you’ve been caught mean nothing.

So A-Rod's apology means nothing as well.

Sincere apologies after you’ve been caught mean nothing, either.

No players were punished.
It’s definitely possible that I missed some apologies that were actually remorseful. Who did so?
Only sincere apology I’ve heard is from Keuchel and he did it awhile back. Respect to him for that as well.

...and then A-Rod lectured others about showing a lack of remorse

A-Rod and a lot of the steroid users who apologized and admitted what they did were forgiven long ago by baseball fans.
Guys like Palmeiro who vehemently denied wrongdoing are still very much hated.

Springer's was pretty genuine, Altuve's as well in the clubhouse post the shitshow press conference. Correa said the right things and was praised until he decided to defend his teammates the next day and immediately lost that good will.
It didn't matter what these guys said no one would buy it anyway.
As much as I love Bregman's bravado and attitude, I will say it's a bad look from him this spring. He's been as quiet as a mouse, which he can't be when he acts the way he does.

But they cheated the game...and screwed players out of MLB careers and potential World Series wins.

A-Rod got caught, "sincerely" apologized then got caught again so we got to see a second "sincere" apology
Also, what is this your 6th Astros thread you've started. This melt of yours is really unbecoming.

I guess I missed those because the media just blew up the Crane presser and what not.
The Altuve thing where he made 4 different excuses for why he didn’t want his jersey ripped off and the Correa blow up I think turned off a lot of people as well, like you said.

So were the astros.
So they need to apologize for not being punished more? Or cause the apology wasn’t enough?
