A PGA event with no caddies, pairing ride carts together

Anybody else think this would be a good change for one tourney a year?
Ride carts, can bring booze on cart if you want, can use laser rangefinders, etc. basically like a normal weekend round for folks like us.

I'd watch, but the I don't think it would be a PGA Tour sanctioned event if they're going to be drinking while playing.

Make it an invitational and a beer requirement of three per nine.
