You know, I was just thinking to myself the other day:

"You know, self? What this world really needs is a few more bowl games. Maybe 1 or 2. Actually, scratch that, make it foe moe o' dem hoes. Then CFB will be perfect, tbh."

at the way they are giving out bowl games, it's not like it's a reward for a great season anymore

Good, more football.
There are thousands of games a year. You can't possibly watch them all. Not enough games has never been an issue at all.

And these will be pretty comparable in terms of excitement to your average regular season game

The overall product is watered down, more crappy teams get in. It's not a tournament, but there is a domino effect. Overall the games will get a little worse

You're right about not rewarding anyone. There is no reward in bowl games, it's just a given for not having a godawful dumpster fire of a season. That sucks. And it's getting worse.

You're really dumb if all you can think about is "more games." Who cares about that?

Bowl football is fun because of the non-conference matchups. It makes money. Teams get more practice. Players get to travel to a new place and spend a week on vacation. Is it as exciting as the Chick-Fil-A bowl? No but it could still create a good game.

So yeah, I'm not the dumb one chief.

Oh, I'm not a college football player. Most people are not college football players on a 6-6 mid-major.

Why should they care?

Speak for yourself homes. I watch every single football game that I am able too.

Bad bowl games are still better than 99% of the shite on TV.

Yeah and it's making money. Which means they won't stop. There are more benefits to have more bowl games than negatives. That's the point I'm trying to get across.

The only negative is that the quality of the game goes down. There are a lot of positives.

Which means there really isn't much of a reason to complain about more bowl games.

do they really expect 9 out of their 12 members to be bowl eligible every year?
