Jett almost pulled a Sexton in those final laps. Fantastic racing today. Jett was on his game, Sexton solid, Webb and Plessinger on the move after bad starts…Tomac a head case again? That Jett vs. Anderson heat race battle had the potential for fireworks but both played nice.
Great to see Forkner back in form and with a little luck on his side for a change. Tough break for Deegan. Here’s a shot of his bars…

Also, if you caught the Stacyc commercial during the broadcast…that was my backyard!

You guys catch the literal balls-out ride by McAdoo? Insane. SX is the last place I expected to see full frontal nudity.

Dudes taking a beating

Spanning the gate for the 450s, damn that’s a bunch of heavy hitters. Mofo better start at the front or it’s gonna be a dangerous road to get up there

Pretty good racing tonight - maybe the most “normal” race so far this season. Almost boring compared to the recent drama. Good to see Kenny get one - he’s been riding well but hasn’t had the best lick so far. Wish AP had kept it upright - would’ve been a more interesting race.

Jett and Ando with some sportsmanship after the race too. I’d love to see Tomac make a push for the series but he just doesn’t have that same gear he had last year

At least they are now running 4 stroke engines for those things.

I went to my one and only Supercross event in the Superdome an eternity ago and that was back in the day of 2 stroke engines being the norm.

By about the 3rd heat the dome was filled with exhaust fumes so thick it looked like fog and was pretty annoying.

I miss the sound of the 2 strokes. Awesome to see Kenny get the win and I liked the track a lot better than last weeks.

One of my cousins had a Kaw 500 three cylinder 2 stroke and that damn bike ran like a scalded dog and could redline in no time at all.

Handled like crap though, especially in curves when twisting the throttle hard but could pull the front end off the ground in all gears in a straight line.

I have zero data to support this but it seems that the tracks this year have been better designed. They still favoring rhythm lanes or aggression in any given react but seem much better planned than last year.

Last year's tracks seemed very vanilla and repetitive.

I still believe that Supercross should be the 2 stroke series and Motocross should be the 4 stroke series.

Absolutely. Great races tonight, dicey track. JL was too aggressive that last lap but gotta give it to him for going for it.

Forkner was the next big thing a couple years ago and suffered a bad injury. I don't know if he'll ever recover and win a 250 title. Webb is the master of winning races where he's not the fastest guy on the night. Not trying to downplay his success it's just crazy. Was great to see Tomac finally show that speed again.
