Nice catch. I was wondering why Rafa and Novak are priced the same to win, but that might explain it.

I actually think Shitsi has a better shot vs. Novak, though I’m well aware of his mental issues. I’d rather have the bigger serve and more variety in general. Rublev can bludgeon his way through most of the tour but that won’t work against Joker.

Problem is Shitsi has to get past Grigor and Rublev first.

It looks like people are figuring out the effectiveness of drop shots. They are obviously useful on clay to begin with, but even more effective with the lower bounce. Gaston almost drop-shotted his way to wins over Stan and Thiem. I’ve seen Novak and Rafa employing it more too.

Am I crazy for thinking Fucsovics beats Rublev?

Yeah, the RG website had a feature on that a few days ago. Even Sinner, who just would not do it most of the day today, finally broke it out in the end.

I really don't know much about frickstick. But, I just don't see it. I probably overrate Rublev. I think he's nasty.

Shitsy is playing really well. You'll be happy to know Tennis Channel signed him up as a content contributor.

Feels like Thiem is running out of gas and Schwartz is the guy. But, I would not make a habit of betting hard earned money against a competitor like Thiem.

I think Sinner is going to keep that match close. But, we're probably looking at Thiem/Schwartz winner worn out for Rafa, then Rafa/Nole. Only thing there is they would get a couple days off between Tuesday and Friday.

I think Rublev could give Nole trouble. I have no faith in Tsitsi.

It's gonna be Djoke v. Rafa. I'd be very surprised if its anything else.

Finally watching an actual match. fricksticks served for the 1st and totally blew it. He has a good gameplan though, using slice and angles to keep the ball out of Rublev’s happy zone.

It looks absolutely miserable there btw.

ETA: Fucsovics takes the 1st in a breaker. No idea who wins, but I know Rublev has no plan B. His only hope is to play better.

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas is blowing Dimitrov off the court in the 1st set.

Rublev is through in what looks like a grinder by the scoreline.

Djokovic just routined Swaggy K.

Since 5D died, I no longer have an online account (and those frickers still have my money....just like a hundred and fiddy bucks, but still). What are Djoke's odds to win tournament? What are Rafa's?

Up to a career high of #11.

Thiem up to #3.

Just some quick back-of-the-envelope math:

Game Differential This Tourney:
Rafa: +51
Novak: +49
Diego: +44
Thiem: +37

For whatever it's worth.

Rafa's current career record in five set matches on clay is 122-2.

That's a pedestrian 98.4% winning percentage.

Holy ballsacks.
