This makes the weird midgame stoppage for a pop song bearable. Almost.

Mo'ne Davis, a girl at the age of 13, threw 71 MPH. I think it's realistic to think a full grown, freakishly athletic woman, could throw 80 mph. If she had impeccable command, she theoretically could pitch in the majors at a replacement level.

Why are they playing with a DH and the AL is batting last?

The All-Star game will be in a National League park for 3 years in a row starting now, so the MLB decided to switch it up and allow the AL to be home this year.

Hmm okay didnt realize. You think they would rotate it bw AL/NL with home field advantage on the line.

In a perfect world they would, but it's largely based on new ballparks which is random and can be streaky between AL/NL

It was only two technically because Minnesota had it in 2014, but apparently the next two are also at NL parks, which will make it 4 in a row, which is crazy
