I get that.... I'm just asking what his cap is? I realize it's not a handicapped event... Just how good are the bottom seeds...

Looks like you just had to shoot one of the lowest 144 scores in the qualifier. Doesn't specify a min handicap requirement

83 at Beaver Creek qualified this year.

Some of the bottom seeds that I know are 4-6 handicaps.

I played a round with Jason Arms (40th seed) at Santa Maria and he shot 68 from the tips.
Dude was smoking like a chimney on 16, 17 & 18 to calm his nerves.
My highlight that day was a 60' birdie on #17.
