And why is it hard to believe that he quit because he was emotional since his father was murdered just a couple months before and his father always wanted him to play baseball?

His father was living out of a car. Think about that for a second. Michael Jordan, at the height of his success, HIS dad was living out of a car.

Either Jordan didn't really care or his dad was hiding from some people.

Either way, that fact alone supports something odd was going on.

MJ is the goat.

But he's also a huge douche.

There is no way he just decided to go play baseball without any other factors other than doing it for his dad.

He was on top of the world and at his peak.

Why isn't he labeled a quitter for leaving his team high and dry? LBJ left a shitty franchise, but at least he was no longer under contract. MJ decided he wasn't going to play basketball anymore, in the prime of his career, days before the season started, to go strike out in baseball three times a night. Nothing odd about that at all...

This all is a bit before my time. Are there any good books that dive into the conspiracy theories surrounding MJ's baseball career?? Would love to hear some undisclosed details about the whole ordeal

The death of Jordan's dad was extremely shady. Go back and read what the Jury actually deliberated on and how Daniel Green was convicted. There was definitely something else going on.
