Charismatic outlived the serious fracture he suffered at the Belmont. He just returned to Kentucky from Japan to live his retirement last year.

They treat those horses out at that farm like royalty...they are pampered...cool set up at the farm. Very popular and busy with visitors.

Interesting fact about charismatic. His the only derby winner to ever race in A claiming race. You could have bought him in 1998 for about 20k at Santa Anita / Hollywood park

One of the craziest risers to glory in horse racing along with Seabiscuit.

I have a hard time finding that Alpo with horsemeat nowadays. Used to buy that stuff all the time.

just reminds me how big of a piece of shite d. wayne lukas is/was and continues to be.

shame on lewis family, overbrook, and tabors for giving him their best bred horses, and helping him from out of the dumpster. He ran horses into their graves, they either won, or he ran them to death for the Insurance money. Storm Cat bred horses were worth a lot in breeding industry.

Still can't forget what he did to a horse at Delaware. Horse came back limping from race, he worked it a bullet 2 days later, and of course, ran it 5 days later and it went 1/4 before breaking down to pieces.

He still takes shots at Chris Antley and is jealous that the jockey got credit for pulling up and holding the horses leg to save him. When people bring it up, shite head always has a jackass comment about Antley

Yeah in not a d Wayne fan. He runs horses just to be in the show when they clearly don't belong. If he has a 3yo that can crack an 85 bey er u better believe they running in all Tc races(avg derby winner runs 105 beer)

Wouldn't call charismatic a top sire

Oddly enough his dam line is one of the best stallion families ever. His Dan line traces back to Alfred vanderbuilt who owned man o war..,.I think .,no that wad riddle nevermind, anyway he's loosely relayed to executive native who sired affirmed and genuine risk.

His best American horse was sun king, who stood at my ex gfs stud farm in new york. He crossed well with Mr prospector mares but there wAS a reason we sent him to japan
