Starting the game at 5 on a weekday was brilliant planning. Doesn't help that it's at Stanford

Historically, if two college football teams are ranked, and they end up playing a rematch, the team that lost the original game wins the rematch game roughly 80% of the time. Mind-blowing stat if you think about it.

This was of course Larry Scott's worst nightmare—having the championship game at Stanford. Worse than an ACC championship game in Florida.

Team introduction with band lining the field looks like a high school team. Don't like the black either. Stanford should wear their colors same for every school. I don't like the special uniform thing.

This is just unbelievable. You get to play your conference championship game at home for a chance to go to the Rose Bowl and you can't even fill your home stadium to half capacity.

That's just sad.

There were more fans at the Alabama-Western Carolina game.

Stanford just doesn't draw very well. Their graduates end up using their degrees all around the world, most don't stay near Palo Alto. It's always led to lower attendance than the rest of the Pac. From an attendance standpoint, any other Pac-12 school would probably draw better than them for a championship game.

they should have played this game at the Coliseum or the Rose Bowl and just advertise that USC is in the game
