They are better than their record.

They were picked to win the Big West, and played a very tough non conference schedule, it was brutal. They scheduled up in non conference because coming into the year they thought they had a chance of having a good year and being in position for an NCAA at large bid.

Unfortunately they lost all of those non conference games and lost some confidence going into conference play. But they righted the ship here at the end and the roster was back at 100%.

There is talent on the roster, Chris Eversley is good. They aren't that athletic, but fundamentally sound.

This team is better than their record and for the past week showed why they were picked to win the league.

Definitely righted the ship. Goodness, they even finished 2-8 to end the regular season vs. all Big West schools.

Well they righted the ship because until this weekend their season had been a total disaster. They were picked to win the league and were expected to contend for an at-large. But they flopped in non conference and that killed their mojo and confidence and didn't quite regain it.

But as they say, the conference tournament means hitting the reset button and everyone is 0-0, that really helped this team. It gave them a fresh start and they slaughtered tournament favorite UC Santa Barbara by 30 points and then beat UC Irvine in a game not as close as the final score. This is the team people were expecting them to be

I have followed this Cal Poly team since we played them last year in Fort Worth since I was impressed by their fundamentals and Chris Eversley/Kyle Odister.

UC Irvine was picked to finish 1st, Poly was picked 3rd. They came into theconf. tourney 10-19 and losers of 10 out of their last 13. They might have some players but you're not convincing me this is a good team.

That freshman shipley could be a pretty good one down the road. Only 6ft though.

That was a block not a charge on Northridge IMO. Though I'm biased towards game ending charge calls.

I thought it should have been a no call.
