Not posting the pic but you can google it. I remember hearing the pop on t.v.
quote:
During a 2013 N.C.A.A. men’s tournament game against Duke, Ware, a guard playing for Louisville, leaped to block a shot. He landed awkwardly, and his leg broke so badly that the bone tore through his skin. Television viewers were spared the sight, but the shock on the faces of Ware’s teammates was upsetting enough.

Compound fractures are a bitch. I broke my arm like that growing up and the image of it bending the wrong way still is burned into my mind all these years later

Did you see the Florida center break his leg during SEC Championship? Same way.. went up for a rebound, untouched, came down awkwardly.
Compound fracture, blood on the court. It was rough.

I’ll never forget the reaction of the Louisville bench and the first few rows of fans behind them.

I broke both bones in my arm clean, and to look down and see your appendage hanging the wrong way is weird. It didn’t hurt for about a minute with adrenaline rush, but it didn’t feel good soon enough.

It was definitely the worst injury I’ve ever seen live.
You could see his leg just snap and the reactions from the bench were spontaneous emotional torture.
I literally jumped into a squatting position on my couch when it happened without realizing it.

Martins injury with Cincy was just awful. But what it cost them was worse.

I think having your neck slit by a skate and dying from it is more gruesome but that's just me.
