I am getting killed on my long VZ position. Any MB experts tell me what is driving this stock downwards?
Acquired in July / August of 2016 - down 20% and 15% respectfully.

Not an expert by any means, but here are my thoughts.
From their last earnings call:
They missed both of their revenue and earnings estimates in the prior quarter, and it sounds like some people are blaming Verizon's delayed response to the currently shifting pricing structures across the market. Their new unlimited offerings should help combat that, but to what degree remains to be seen.
If you compare how they ended Q1 of '16 vs Q1 of '17, there's been a significant decrease in their cash position (down over a billion plus in free cash flow), which could impact their dividend strategy going forward were it to continue. Something to keep an eye on for a company that hasn't provided significant stock appreciation over the years.
Their acquisition of Yahoo and their new Unlimited revenue model could change the game for them, but the uncertainty of how those two things will affect the company leave holders in a wait and see mode.

The primary driver was a decrease in wireless service revenue resulting from the migration to the new pricing structures introduced over the past nine months, and the ongoing transition of the base to unsubsidize pricing...

Bad acquisitions, not a lot of faith in the leadership, large amount of debt, increased competition from T-Mobile and sprint with the unlimited plans.

Thanks for the follow up
May cut losses here soon and be done with it. So, be ready to buy because it will bounce back within a week of when I sell!!
