How much room for negotiating is there on used vehicles?

The answers could be all over the place. Depends on the vehicle, the price, the region, the dealer, how long vehicle has been in lot, etc

2022 Toyota Tacoma at a Toyota dealership near Atlanta. It's been on their lot for a little over a month. It was originally listed for $31,895, then went up to $32,665, then $33,995, now it's back down to $32,885.

Its all over the place, but prices overall have been rapidly falling.
Sort of tracking some MDXs for the wife and I just saw a acura precision certified 2022 model that was listed for $43k back end of January and it just sold for no higher than $41.5k this week. That was with the dealer dropping the price like $200-$300 a week over several weeks. So, they are willing to drop prices if things sit on lot for a bit.
Use autotempest to see price history of a vehicle. caredge is also a good paid thing to use if you are serious about buying now. Can see if something is a good deal, price history, etc
