US Stock Markets - Middle East turmoil

What are the medium to long-term impact to the broader US stock markets of the current ME turmoil? What if the current conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen expands to include Iran on the Yemeni side, in essence pitting Saudi Arabia vs. Iran directly (not through proxy).
This could get interesting. It would impact the markets, but how?
Flight out of all stock markets? Flight to safety into US markets as the most capitalized (safest)? Non-factor, focus on the FED?

What is your definition of current? Risk has been high in that market for a long long time

Saudi vs Iran would be great for oil stocks
