Beautiful news on a beautiful day - 6% of world production gone in an already deficit market - our time is coming/has come

Has been tempting to take some profits but I think this thesis still has legs.

I think you're right. All about our appetite for volatility at this point with equities. Downward pressure on the spot price seems like a fairytale with what is happening currently. Really anticipating what Cameco comes out with during earnings on the 8th. $KAP's "bad news" raised their stock price 10% today. Hoping for more "bad news" on the 8th

UUUU creeping back down to $6.60, wondering if it's time to add to my positions

I got in around this price point in 21 and have watched it bounce to high 8s and back several times since.

With the other uranium stocks reaching highs, and the long term outlook of uranium looking so good, I'm not sure why this one is behind. They stress they have no debt, and usually report decent earnings.

Not a bad idea. The volatility in this sector is no joke but allows for great DCA opportunities. I'm having to build some cash currently but would probably be joining you if I wasn't.

Any takes on NuScale (SMR)? Was considering pairing it with CCJ, UEC and UUUU.

Really would like to pick a few North American companies. If not, will just go for URNM and NLR ETFs.

There have been good dips on sput, urnm, and urnj. I think those are all good options. There are a dozen specific companies that are potentially big movers but frankly you capture that basket (not individual companies) more effectively with urnm and urnj.

I still have a bias for some companies that I bought when they were cheaper. At current prices I prefer the basket investment option.

Generally avoiding URA / NLR? Just would rather focus on spot price and miners?

This sector is extremely volatile. I personally like URNM and URNJ better than URA just because they're uranium pure-plays while URA isn't. URA has more liquidity and a better options chain which is nice though.

This is all about your risk appetite. IMO the surest bets are U.UN (Sput), CCJ, KAP, URNM, URA, URNJ. After that maybe UEC and NXE. Going to be a lot of small guys that rocket and a lot that go to zero, and I don't have the risk appetite or diligence to try to find out. I own some EU, UUUU, and DNN but am letting my URNJ position get me the exposure to the juniors.

Been an interesting couple of weeks. These dips are hard to stomach but in the end the fundamentals haven't changed. Higher prices will unlock some supply but in the end more of the stuff needs to be mined/produced and that can't happen with the flip of a switch. Holding on tight

FWIW I don't know how to predict this cycle's Paladin. But among those most likely to produce I would include: Nexgen, UEC, Global Atomic, Deep Yellow, FCUUF, DNN, Goviex, FORSYS, Encore, and Bannerman.

They all have disadvantages though. And should not be bought unless you have a lot of time to watch them carefully. If you want to buy just one individual Uranium stock it should probably be either SPUT or CCJ.
