If I'm using itemized deduction......where do I go to input my kids school tuition? I can only find to input college tuition. This isn't the child/dependent care credit correct?

You do get some credit on your LA state taxes though.

Kids tuition is not a federal deduction for K-12 education. However, it is an LA deduction. There should be an option for state-only deductions.

The federal child care credit doesn't count tuition, but it DOES count before/after care, and any summer camps, if both parents have earned income.
