Got a 67 on Reg. not sure how to prepare for it,mad I read my azz off. Waiting on BEC and Aud results in September and studying for FAR retake. I listen to Gleim audio cd at work and it's doing wonders.

Becker CPA exam prep was excellent and got me through the exam, especially REG. It is expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Took me 3 tries to pass REG (70-74-89). I did so many multiple choice questions and sims to prep for the 3rd attempt, it hurt.
I used CPAExcel, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja Notes, and Ninja Test Bank.

Got my BEC score sooner than I thought (took it around May 31st). I failed with a 70
Apparently, I was weaker in everything but economics and I beasted it in written communication.
I did better in the simulations than multiple choice. I have no idea on how to prep for IT.
I have notes from Wiley, ninja, and superfastcpa. I have the Wiley book and used the questions in the back.

I'm taking it first time on Thursday. I'm doing fairly well on MCQ's, but I'm worried I'm going to get a sim that I don't know how to do and be screwed. For the communication part how did you score well? I have found out of the at least 25 examples I've looked at the material seems to be pretty easy. Just wondering if you had any specific advice on how to score as highly as possible.
It's worth 15%, and so I would really like to get myself those "free" points if I could considering its not graded on content.

All three written assignments were compare/contrast situations. I just did a standard three body explanation for each. Ive always been a good writer but I made sure to match what the scenario was looking for. Always be clear and precise from the pov of someone with little to no financial experience.

Glad to see you're attacking the exam. I remember you posting a few months ago that you were giving it some thought. Best decision I've ever made was getting my Acct Union Card.

Becker is the best. Passed all parts on my first try. I never got my gold ruler because the teacher tried to rob a bank several months after the class ended.

Finally, did plunge with Gleim and got Far/Reg. I'm doing the mcqs and simulations (book hasn't arrived yet). So far, I'm digging it. I pushed my FAR retake b/c I want to be done with it. I plan to retake Reg in early December. I will supplement with Ninja, and study JEs. Plan to focus heavily on leases, bonds, and Gov't.

Ninja MCQ is great in my opinion. I've found it extremely useful. You seem to be focusing on the right areas for FAR, but I took it before the exam changes so hard to say.
At this point I've passed FAR and BEC, waiting on my score for Audit, and am planning to take REG in November.

I ran into a CPA last year who had no idea it's completely legit for nonprofits to be profitable.
