I've never used Tinder. So I don't know. I assume ad sells. They may have some sort of "enhance my account" subscription like OKCupid.com. I don't think this is a situation where it's tough to figure out how to monetize the business model, like say Twitter. Their biggest threat is competition, not how do we make money off this product.
