Usually give my taxes to my parents to bring to their cpa... Trying to become an adult I guess and do it myself, will I get a maximum refund by just doing it myself on H&R Block or turbo tax; or should I just bring it to the CPA TIA

Unless you're itemizing deductions, probably. And unless you have a significant mortgage, you probably aren't itemizing deductions.

Print out an 1040EZ form, fill out in 5 minutes, mail it in. You can probably do it online theses days.

Don't do this.

Use turbo tax or taxact and do it online. Both are simple step by step. It's a 15 minute process and you can direct deposit your refund at the end.

Unless he's itemizing deductions or claiming capital gains/losses, both his federal and state returns would be free online.
