Tax Help with LSU 1098T and TOPS

I am not sure in Turbotax where to put what we actually paid to LSU versus the Total amount LSU billed us which is on the 1098T and includes Spring 2016 fees(box 7 is checked). Can anyone elaborate on how this works and what you need to actually enter? Do I cut that amount in half when entering it into Turbotax to exclude Spring 2016 or do I just put in what we actually paid after TOPS?

There should be a box for total charges, and a box for scholarships/grants.
