Tax Experts - Wash Sale Scenario

I have a question regarding a wash sale between options and shares. I traded in and out of AAPL options throughout the year and got hit hard in August when the market dropped. Each time I traded just 1 option contract.
In August I bought 10 shares of AAPL also. There is no doubt in my mind that there is a wash sale but currently the broker is showing a complete wash. An options contract is the equivalent of 100 shares of stock so my question is if the broker is correct or if the wash sale should only be for 10% due to the 10 shares bought??
