It's a PE firm, they all exit after 3-5 years. It's been 4 years.

Yetis patent on the tumbler technology expired. Knock-offs will and are abundant and will get even higher.

However, Yeti's strength is in its Brand. This is not a pure revenues story. Its not about selling coolers or tumblers but building and continually improving the brand which they do a far better job of than most.

Their customer service alone is impeccable and what keeps customers buying more and more products. I imagine they will continue to roll out new products.

How much of the IPO is going to R&D or is it purely a cashout method id be curious to know?

I'd be hesitant to short this one but $5b does sound like a pricy valuation.

Their customer service doesn't matter when I can buy the same product for 1/4th or 1/5th of the price

R&D This isn't rocket surgery.

The PE firm is looking to exit, thats why there would be an IPO.
